The Alaska Angle was created by Jared Cross and Cash Arrington to provide insightful coverage of Alaska’s most pressing issues — life, politics, and environment. Our mission is to deliver thoughtful analysis and perspectives that matter to Alaskans.

Who are we?

Cash Arrington — Founder I’m Cash Arrington. I am from Nome, and I’m co-founder of the Alaska Angle. I seek to provide thoughtful perspectives on Alaska’s history and issues, primarily focusing on subjects I have particular passion for, being economics, rural Alaska, development, politics, education, and philosophy. I write because I love Alaska. Harvard College, Class of 2028.

Jared Cross — Founder I’m Jared Cross, a student at Mt. Edgecumbe High School in Sitka, Alaska. I’ve spent most of my life in the Bering Strait Region. I have a passion for technology and have spent the majority of my life creating things with technology. At The Alaska Angle, I try to bring you stories that matter, with a focus on Alaska. My goal is to offer a platform where nuanced discourse can thrive. Northwestern University, Class of 2029.
